My stay at the St. Regis Beijing was filled with really good service and lovely touches that truly exceeded my expectations. The beauty of the hotel combined with excellent hospitality made my visit nice. However, there were a couple of hiccups, particularly with dining options that could use some improvement.

Rooms
10.0
I was upgraded to a magnificent Ambassador Suite that was spacious and elegantly decorated, creating a luxurious atmosphere. It felt like a home away from home.
Service
10.0
The service was perfect from the moment I arrived. The head butler, Albin, greeted me by name, and the assistant head butler, Pandora, ensured that all my needs were met promptly and warmly. Every interaction with the staff was a delight.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location in the diplomatic quarters of Beijing is perfect, providing easy access to local attractions and a peaceful environment, just a short walk from Jian Guo Men station.
Dining
7.0
While the dining experience offered plenty of choices, the quality was somewhat lackluster, especially compared to what I expected from such a luxury hotel. The buffet, for example, felt more like a three-star offering.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel's facilities were well-maintained, and I appreciated the wide range of amenities, including the Press Club bar and room service, which provided 24-hour refreshment.

I really enjoyed my stay at The St. Regis Beijing. The rooms were exquisite with elegant touches, and I appreciated the attentive service from the staff. The amenities were impressive, especially the spa, although there was a minor inconvenience with room arrangements during my stay. Overall, it was a luxurious experience, and I would gladly return.

Rooms

My room was large and beautifully decorated, offering a stunning view of the leafy diplomatic quarter. I appreciated the ample supply of bottled water provided throughout my stay.

The service was great and very cooperative. Every interaction I had with the staff was positive, and they were always eager to help, making my experience even more nice.

The location is excellent, close to the metro and just a few stops from the Forbidden City. It's situated in a secure area near various embassies and restaurants.
Dining

Dining options were plentiful and varied, with a wonderful buffet offering a mix of high-quality dishes. I particularly enjoyed the breakfasts, which had a fantastic choice of homemade pastries and local cuisine.
Facilities

The facilities were impressive, especially the spa where I enjoyed a male facial treatment. I also made good use of the hot tub, which was a great way to relax after a long day.

6.6/10

I recently stayed at The St. Regis Beijing and had a wonderful experience overall. The ambience at the Press Club Bar was good, especially during their Harry Potter theme event. However, I did notice some areas needing improvement, particularly regarding certain staff interactions. The location was unbeatable, nestled in the secure diplomatic quarter, but I encountered some inconsistencies in service that affected my overall rating.

Rooms
10.0
My room was spacious and comfortable, offering good views over the leafy diplomatic quarter. I appreciated the large kitchen and additional half bath, enhancing the convenience for my stay.
Service
8.0
The service was mostly attentive, with the bar manager, Lucky, going above and beyond by checking on us frequently and surprising us with complimentary champagne. Despite this, some staff seemed inexperienced during busy times, which affected the overall experience.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is fantastic, close to major attractions like Tiananmen Square, yet in a tranquil area. This setting made it feel like an oasis in the bustling city, perfect for a relaxing retreat.
Dining
8.0
Dining was a highlight. I enjoyed the signature Bloody Mary at the bar and the cuisine at Celestial Court was exquisite. However, there was a minor hiccup at the seafood buffet due to an unpleasant oyster.
Facilities
9.0
The facilities, including the Iridium Spa, were well-maintained and offered a relaxing retreat, although I did notice some areas of the hotel that could use an update. It provided a solid range of amenities.

My stay at The St. Regis Beijing was generally enjoyable, though some aspects required improvement. The staff were warm and welcoming, making me feel at home, but my dining experience was below expectations due to cold food and language barriers. The location was fantastic for exploring nearby attractions, and the rooms were spacious and elegantly designed, ensuring comfort throughout my stay.

Rooms

The suite I stayed in was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and had elegant touches, making it feel luxurious.
Service

The staff were exceptionally courteous, with individuals like Effy at the front desk going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.
Location
8.0
I loved that the hotel was conveniently close to the shopping district and main attractions like the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square.
Dining
5.0
While I enjoyed breakfast, I had some disappointment with the restaurant services, as my food was served cold and it was tough to order certain items within the requested time.
Facilities

The hotel offered a decent range of facilities, though I didn't make use of everything during my short stay.

6.2/10

My stay at The St. Regis Beijing had its ups and downs. While the spacious room and comfortable bed stood out, I was disappointed with the outdated furniture and some service hiccups. The breakfast was just average, lacking the variety I expected from such a high-end hotel.

Rooms
8.0
The room was very spacious with a separate living area and walk-in closet, but the carpet and furniture felt a bit old. It also had an odd smell that might benefit from some air fresheners.
Service
6.0
Overall, the service was mixed. Some staff, like Nora from the lobby, were wonderfully attentive, while others seemed inexperienced, particularly during a chaotic happy hour. A birthday cake mix-up left me feeling quite frustrated despite the genuine apologies from some staff.
Location
9.0
The location is excellent, close to key attractions like the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. It's also in a secure area, making it easy to walk to shopping districts.
Dining
6.0
Dining was decent, but the breakfast selection was limited compared to nearby hotels. I had a mixed experience with the seafood lunch, partly due to a stinky oyster, although the chef did apologize sincerely.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel's facilities were solid, with great options for room service and a well-equipped gym. However, the hot spring area felt like it could have been better maintained.
