I recently stayed at The St. Regis Beijing and had a wonderful experience overall. The ambience at the Press Club Bar was good, especially during their Harry Potter theme event. However, I did notice some areas needing improvement, particularly regarding certain staff interactions. The location was unbeatable, nestled in the secure diplomatic quarter, but I encountered some inconsistencies in service that affected my overall rating.

My stay at The St. Regis Beijing had its ups and downs. While the spacious room and comfortable bed stood out, I was disappointed with the outdated furniture and some service hiccups. The breakfast was just average, lacking the variety I expected from such a high-end hotel.

The room was very spacious with a separate living area and walk-in closet, but the carpet and furniture felt a bit old. It also had an odd smell that might benefit from some air fresheners.

Overall, the service was mixed. Some staff, like Nora from the lobby, were wonderfully attentive, while others seemed inexperienced, particularly during a chaotic happy hour. A birthday cake mix-up left me feeling quite frustrated despite the genuine apologies from some staff.

Dining was decent, but the breakfast selection was limited compared to nearby hotels. I had a mixed experience with the seafood lunch, partly due to a stinky oyster, although the chef did apologize sincerely.

The hotel's facilities were solid, with great options for room service and a well-equipped gym. However, the hot spring area felt like it could have been better maintained.
